Amy Bowman

Amy Bowman was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1993. 

She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1986 and her J.D. from the George Washington University National Law Center in 1993.  Ms. Bowman’s practice focuses on representing builders and developers in the area of residential, commercial and mixed use real estate development. 

Ms. Bowman has represented builders and developers in the acquisition, financing and sale of both commercial and residential real estate, including the preparation of purchase and sale agreements and the negotiation of loan and financing documents.  She has prepared development documents such as subdivision deeds, homeowners association documents, easement deeds and cost-sharing/reciprocal easement agreements.  She also has extensive experience in the structuring, creation, and operation of condominium and property owners associations, has overseen the registration of numerous residential condominium projects and condominium conversion projects for regional and national builders with the Virginia Common Interest Community Board, and has advised clients on the creation of land condominiums, flex-warehouse condominiums, office condominiums and senior housing condominiums.

Ms. Bowman also served as an attorney with a title company, where she facilitated the purchase and sale of properties on behalf of builders and developers.

Ms. Bowman is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the American Bar Association.
